First of all I would like to say I got inspired by Joni and Margot for this South Beach diet thingy. Margot even brought the South Beach Diet book in for me to study. I have asked Stella to join me but then she refused. She is too much in love with bread and sugar. So I will be on this mission with Margot only. Well, I kind of started this diet on Saturday, August 8th 2009. It's has been 2 and a half day for me so far. The first was torturing, well I shouldn't use the word torture cause it wasn't that bad. It is more like hard to resist your temptation when you see others around you drinking 7up or eating fruits that you love!! I kind of love the breakfast that I have now though. Scramble eggs fill me for a long hours. Like before if I have bread for breakfast, I would be hungry by noon or maybe a bit later than 12 but not until 1 and not to mention it would take up to 4 slices of white bread to fill me up. Well, after I started switching to scramble eggs, I wont feel hungry until 1 or even later. However, it is better to eat before I feel hungry cause if I let myself feel hungry, I can eat the whole universe. Anyway, I'll write my post everyday about my 2 weeks strict period whether I will lose any weight at all. (strict period means No bread, no sugar and no fruits at all or basically no bar carb) So today I weight myself I am around 144 pds which is like 65.5 kgs. I will weight myself everyday and see how much I will be able to lose. My ideal weight is like 120 pds or 55 kgs but that is a long-term goal. Right now I am just aiming to lose around 5 to 10 pds first. Cause I know that diet without exercise won't get me losing further than 5 to 10 pounds.
